NEWS: Slipknot have something BIG coming - Corey Taylor

Slipknot have a tour planned for later this year, Frontman Corey Taylor told Kerrang! Radio that slipknot have a set of American dates planned for September, and that they are constantly in touch with Live Nation to make sure that it goes ahead as planned.

Taylor also said that the band have "some massive stuff brewing" that fans will "hear about" soon. Shawn "Clown" Crahan confirmed in November that the band had spent time working on new material during the lockdown but remained silent about the the release of a new album.. During a 2021 interview with Good Company With Bowling, Taylor said they were entertaining the idea of releasing the follow-up to 2019's We Are Not Your Kind.

"We're up to date on all of the different restrictions, not only in the States, but federally. We're obviously keeping an eye on everything and kind of going from there," he said. "Other than that, right now, there's some stuff brewing that I can't talk about, but it's massive. I can say this — you will hear about it probably in the next month or so, let's put it that way."
